PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU HAVE AN URGENT NEED TO SEE A GP YOU CAN NOW BE OFFERED A FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENT WITH A GP. WE ARE STILL OFFERING TELEPHONE APPOINTMENTS FOR THE MORE GENERAL HEALTH PROBLEMS AS THEY ARE IDEALLY SUITED TO A PHONE CALL AND WILL SAVE YOU COMING INTO THE SURGERY.  IF YOU NEED TO BE SEEN HOWEVER, IT IS SAFE TO COME INTO THE SURGERY, ASSUMING YOU DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE ANY COVID SYMPTOMS OF A PERSISTENT DRY COUGH OR A HIGH TEMPERATURE.  OUR SURGERY REMAINS A "COLD HUB" AND WE ARE NOT SEEING ANYONE HERE WITH COVID SYMPTOMS SO PLEASE DO NOT DELAY TREATMENT FOR ANY URGENT MEDICAL NEEDS.

Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • non_nhs_services1Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccination certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
