Noticeboard

PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU HAVE AN URGENT NEED TO SEE A GP YOU CAN NOW BE OFFERED A FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENT WITH A GP. WE ARE STILL OFFERING TELEPHONE APPOINTMENTS FOR THE MORE GENERAL HEALTH PROBLEMS AS THEY ARE IDEALLY SUITED TO A PHONE CALL AND WILL SAVE YOU COMING INTO THE SURGERY.  IF YOU NEED TO BE SEEN HOWEVER, IT IS SAFE TO COME INTO THE SURGERY, ASSUMING YOU DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE ANY COVID SYMPTOMS OF A PERSISTENT DRY COUGH OR A HIGH TEMPERATURE.  OUR SURGERY REMAINS A "COLD HUB" AND WE ARE NOT SEEING ANYONE HERE WITH COVID SYMPTOMS SO PLEASE DO NOT DELAY TREATMENT FOR ANY URGENT MEDICAL NEEDS.

We want to hear about your experiences of local healthcare services. What works well? What could be improved? What ideas do you have? Click here to give us your feedback

NEWSFLASH!

Important information for patients who use Spring house but are not registered here.

Spring House Medical Centre was one of only two GP surgeries in Hertfordshire that treated patients who were not registered with our practice.

However, now that the New QE2 Hospital is open just across the road from Spring house, adults and children of all ages with minor injuries or illnesses have 24 hr access to health services at the Urgent Care Centre, which is located within the hospital.

That is why, from 1st July 2015, Spring House will only treat patients who are registered here.  Patients who are registered with practices elsewhere can visit their own GP or access health services at the hospital's Urgent Care Centre.

With X-ray facilities and experienced emergency nurses on hand, the new Urgent Care Centre offers an excellent service.  There is a drop-off point right outside the door and parking nearby.

The Urgent Care Centre is just one of the new facilities available for local people at the New QE2 Hospital.  For more information please log on to www.newqeii.info
